The Piglet Mindset School Visit
Piglet Mindset School Visits are designed to bring Piglet’s message of positivity, compassion, and kindness to students in an engaging, interactive, impactful one hour long presentation.
To optimize the school visit experience for your students, it is advisable (although not required) that teachers spend time prior to the scheduled school visit teaching from our online educational materials. Some teachers incorporate the Piglet Mindset program into their growth mindset and kindness curriculum throughout the school year. Others do a more abbreviated version pointed towards Disabilities Month, or a School Kindness Campaign.
Ideally, students should become familiar with Piglet’s story and how he approaches his challenges in a positive way. They should understand what a Piglet Mindset is. They’ll enjoy meeting Piglet’s pack of adorable, kind rescue dogs from our children’s book, Piglet Comes Home. There are many creative, challenging activities and writing prompts that are included in the online program.
Consider choosing one or two grade levels to participate in our program every year. School visits with smaller groups are interactive and most impactful.
