Support for Dog Rescue Organizations

Piglet is a rescued dog who is profoundly disabled. He was pulled from a hoarding situation by Dr. Gloria Andrews, veterinarian and founder of Colbert Veterinary Rescue Services. While Piglet was fortunate to have found a devoted caring family, there are many dogs like him who are still looking for their forever home.

A big part of Piglet's mission is to support dog rescue organizations that focus on dogs with disabilities and special needs. A portion of Piglet merchandise fundraising benefits a number of rescue groups across the USA. We also consult with rescue groups and individuals who have questions about caring for deaf blind dogs.

Piglet's Rescue Fund was established in January 2022 through the generosity of one of our supporters. In 2024 we were able to donate $40,000 to dog rescue organizations, and in 2025, we proudly were able to double that number as we donated $80,000 to rescue groups across the USA. With increased funding, we will continue to expand our reach to dogs and other animals with disabilities and special needs.
